Duval's Arrival

Duval's foster mom arrived today with him and 4 other frenchies going to the rescue parade or to their forever home. They were so adorable! Now, we know what they mean when they say Frenchies are like potato chips. You can't just have one. They were so entertaining as they played together. I have a lot more photos, but I'll just post a few for now. It was so nice to meet Duval's foster mom.

Here is french fry (white), Roma (fawn), and Duval (brindle).

Here they are playing with Keith. They love the attention!

He got acquainted with the house, the yard, and his bed. The sounds in our creeky house and the traffic outside is still new to him, so he was always looking to see what was going on.

Just half an hour after his foster mom left, we fed him, brushed him, treated his itchies and he fell asleep on my legs. He must have been worn out from his trip. He seems to really love the physical contact. He loves to get rubs and hugs.

Duval's foster mommy gave him an adorable winter coat. It might be cold for him since he's use to the Florida weather. He's going to look so handsome. It even has a fur edge around the hood and a pocket on the back. Keith asked what he needs a pocket for? I said for treats of course!

He's going to be so spoiled. Last night, we went for a few more supplies and bought him a fishing vest for when he goes fishing with us. (Of course, he'll need a life vest because we fish on a lake and frenchies don't swim. The fishing vest is just for our entertainment.) As you can see in the background, we also picked up a pantry closet for his food, toys, treats, shampoo, and all his other gear. It looks like he's going to need his own closet too.

Here he is with his new bowl (which matches our kitchen) and doggie placemat, so his bowl doesn't slide all over the place.

Right now, he's sleeping in his bed. When he wakes up, we'll take him for a walk around the neighborhood. We love him already!
